Ainol Novo 7 Tornado

Ainol New novo 7 series Tornados have in stock to itabletpcshop.com , novo 7 tornados built in 1GHz DDR 3 RAM and 2nd generation ARM Cortex-A9 1.0GHz Core, Mali-400 3D processing GPU , tornados have nand flash 8GB and 16GB version . the Specifications are nearly the same but the CPU will change to Amlogic 8729-M3L A9 CPU. The main difference between the discontinued Novo 7 Paladin and the cheaper Tornado is that the later adds a web camera!

Novo 7 tornados running android 4.03 ICS system
Exclusive Flash and HTML5 Decoding, 1080P Full HD Video Supporting
Ainol Novo 7 Tornados has built-in flash adobe 10.2 version specific for Amloigc which supports 1080P Full HD video HDMI Output and online flash decoding.

Amlogic 8726-M3L 1.0GHz Cortex-A9 processor with a blazing Mali-400 GPU...awesome power for the price! The 800x480 screen is capacitive...unheard of in the sub $100.00 class. It's decent, as well, with good if not great touch response(I'll go with another reviewer on this one, it's a 7 out of 10...not bad, but not the best either). Colors are well saturated and viewing angles are, from side to side, passable, but from bottom up and top straight down=crappy.

Straight on and off to the left or right a bit are it's best angles....honestly for the price, you can't complain, it could have been far worse here.

I love the fact that it handled my 32GB microSD card effortlessly as well. Size is just about perfect for holding with one hand, and even though it's got a bezel on it, it helps to provide some grip, so it's actually serving a purpose. I'm not the biggest fan of the 7" form factor...but it honestly just works for the Tornados very well. As for any "Extras", like HDMI out, now you know how they kept the price in check...just the basics here, nothing fancy or wasteful. The left side of the Tornados has just a standard combo micro usb charging/PC connecting port, a mic, a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Thats it. All you need, nothing else.... Along the top are a power button, volume +/- rocker, and a menu/ home button. Oh, and it has a pretty decent camera located dead center of the top of the bezel...perfect place for it for Skype use.

Battery life has been pretty good for a sub $100.00 tab, with me seeing around 4.5 to 5 hours with wifi on and screen brightness at 100%. With wifi off and screen brightness at around 75%, I managed 5 to 6 hours of life....not too bad at all! For comparison sake, I get just about the same life out of my A10 based tablets...and they cost me quite a bit more than this bad boy, awesome!

HTML5 online video supporting is another plus, this enables the user to watch online video freely. All video formats can be decoded. Internet surfing is one of the main function for android tablet users. Ainol Novo 7 Tornado provides three Internet connection options: high speed Wi-Fi, 3G and Ethernet. Uses realtek8188 chip which supports 802.11b/g/n, the transaction speed is as fast as 150M. G-sensor is also pretty sensitive.

Ainol isn't shipping chargers out with the Tornados, an obvious cost cutting measure. Not to worry, as stated above, you can just charge it with your computer or any wall mounted usb 5v 500 adapter(or greater, I'm using a 1000mah wall adapter). Charge times will be a bit longer because of this, but it's still reasonable. Using my computer, It took 4 to 5 hours to charge from 5% to 100%, with my 1000mah wall charger, 3 to 4 hours were needed. This is the first time I've seen a China manufacturer not ship a wall charger with their tabs, and while not the greatest quality, having a charger is always the best way when traveling...lets hope this dosen't become a trend!
